She completed her medical degree in 2008 at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and finished her residency training in Haydarpaşa in 2014. She gained her specialization and clinical experience particularly at the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery clinic of Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. Throughout her career, she has focused on the fields of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, taking part in both clinical and academic practices.
Due to her success in the theoretical exams held in Helsinki, Finland in 2014, and the practical exams held in Brussels, Belgium in 2015, she was awarded the "European Board Certification," which signifies proficiency across Europe for plastic surgeons, and was accepted as a member of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).
Dr. İskenderoğlu believes that aesthetic and reconstructive surgery is the field "where science and art meet." She works with her patients based on a trust-oriented approach, adhering to ethical standards and personalized planning.
